After a wide criticism over the use of the PowerPoint in US military, it was McChrytal’s time to be shown the door. The military commander leading the joint US and NATO forces in Afghanistan was fired for being critical on the use of the PowerPoint in the military briefing (The National Business Review , 2010). The PowerPoint presentation in military is a remarkable advancement in employing new technology and advancement of the military activities. It is quite obvious that the power point would ease the work of the military but extend of use is disregarding the efficiency of the military. Since the development of the PowerPoint is done by the junior military officers, there might be some illusion in their creation in order to impress the senior military officers. Such scenario might lead to making wrong decision.  It will be a ridiculous for military officer to take much time just creating a PowerPoint which would jeopardize the capacity of the military in case of war. Therefore the PowerPoint presentation should be used only where necessary whereas the military communication traditions being maintained
