The broad nature of human in the globe as influenced by various cultural practices results to different perception of drug usage in the globe thus establishing a generalized conclusion on the issue is challenging task. This contributes to emergence of various trends in the area hence deploying particular policy to respond to illegal drug abuse tends to be inadequate (Hanson, et al, 2006). However, the international community is in the fore front in fighting drug abuse and usage in the society is funding and facilitating various treatment methods as well therapies.
