Introduction

Women global leaders have had a multitude of challenges in their course of duty. This has mostly been facilitated by the various cultural ties and beliefs when it comes to the role of a woman in the family as well as in the community. Most of the cultural settings discriminate women against men especially on community leadership matters as well as in the family unit. In some countries such as Pakistan, cultural norms and discriminatory rules submit women as unequal before the state law. In the different countries allover North America and Europe, there is a clear under-representation of women in the various leaderships as well as decision making processes in the workplaces and at home. This explains why the global leadership is dominated by men and the few ladies that have been featured in this are facing a multiple challenges as mentioned.
