Introduction

            That the US is a nation that has had its own internal scandalous affairs despite being the world leader in politics, observation of human liberties and economy is a matter that is indisputable. Next to the Bill Clinton-Monika Lewinsky scandal, the most recent presidential scandal is Nixon’s Watergate Scandal. The scandal started on June 17^th, 1972. The scandal started off with the apprehension of five men who had made incursion into the Democratic Committee headquarters which is at the Watergate Complex. The FBI had connected payments to the burglars to a slush fund that was supposed to have been used by the Committee of 1972 for Reelecting the President.  Investigations by the Senate Watergate Committee exposed the truth that the then President Richard Nixon was in possession of a tape recording system which he had been using to  record as many conversations as he wanted.
