My personal opinion concerning this film is that it was a very good movie. However, it is a saIDening movie as it starts when a person who had invested all the relationship in his job had to loose it. The fact that characters such as Ryan lose their job despite the fact that they consider their stay as instrumental in driving the progress of the organization makes it sad that his tenure comes to an end at the company.

The first impression that Ryan created was that of a workaholic white collar person who utilizes his well polished skills for survival in the competitive market. As far as relating to Ryan is concerned, it was nearly hard for my life to contrast that of Ryan. His approach towards life and mine are quite different. Ryan can be said to be a person who is absorbed by his work, to the extent that he does not have another life beyond his workplace. He appears to be value his work too much that life without work is like the end of his life. Despite the fact we share attributes about the general attitudes towards work and the commitment to it, I find it hard that a person can sacrifice too much of all life, including personal energy, to work only at the expense of his social life.
