The Vietnam War

The Vietnam War (Cold War military conflict) that took place between 1^st November 1955 to 30^th April 1975 in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia was the only war that did not secure victory for the Americans, the US failed terribly in this war. The For the entire duration of time that this war took place, the proceedings fulfilling the United States policies were altered often in the course of four terms of different presidents and a period of almost two decades.

It is notable that the United States has always been attracted  to a number of international affairs belonging to other countries, a matter that is usually solicit mixed reactions among other countries as well as in the local scenes. In the case of Vietnam War, it was communism that attracted the US into the matter and this is considered one of the major mistakes that this country ever committed based on the fact that the matter led to so many people from other countries as well as a good number of locals criticizing the entire exercise. There is no good reason that the Americans can give that could justify their involvement in one of the biggest and most controversial wars in the history of the universe.
