The general Prologue and the wife of Bath’s Prologue (and Perhaps to a lesser extent the Wife of Bath’s Tale, although the mostly affects the style of an Arthurian pastiche) offer us something new this semester; a more realistic and wider portrait of a society at a particular time and place, with multiple voices, classes and perspective. Discuss the various groups that the pilgrims fall into( Use at least two concrete and thorough examples) and how those groups represents specific points of view in Chaucer’s medieval world. And where does the Wife of Bath ft in? Without outside research just the book
