Review of Red Highway by Nicolas Rothwell
The book Red Highway authored by Nicolas Rothwell was published in 2009 by Blank Inc in Melbourne Australia. The book is a masterpiece of RothwellÂ’s desert places where he walks as he meditates on meaning of life. Rothwell is a journalist and author of books. He has won an award in his journalism career and has wide experience in writing books. Apart from the Red Highway he has also written books such as Another Country and Wings of the Kite-Hawk in his career. My review is on RothwellÂ’s exploration on the deserts of Northern Australia upon his return from his reporting mission in MiIDle East wars. For some years he has been reporting in different challenging environment such as war zones. The fact that he had endured rough and life threatening circumstances for many years spurred Rothwell to explore the desert to understand not only the physical landscape but what was behind the landscape in respect to his life. It is a quest for knowledge and understanding home expedition.
