Abstract

Learning to manage ones anger can turn a disruptive individual into a more productive and peaceful individual who is a positive aIDition to the society. The main aim of the program is to pass on ager management skills to the miIDle school kids as well as train them new ways of managing their anger. With the new skills that they are expected to develop their school and community will benefit in that when students are able to handle angry stimulating conditions they become less disruptive therefore their learning environment improves and they are able to learn more productively (Potter2005). The skills will also benefit their parents and society in general since acquiring anger management skills will lead to the kids behaving in mature ways by reacting appropriately to anger stimulating situations hence they are expected to less confrontational and disruptive. The program will therefore be beneficial to their school and homes .Their newly acquired anger management skills are expected to be transmitted to other kids since kids learn from one another and thus learn to live harmoniously with their parents and in their community. The program is beneficial to the educators since through the program they acquire new knowledge on anger management.
