RE       :           Ethical Issues.

It’s to the attention of the company that there is an Ethical Dilemma regarding sales of minifying glass which is one of our products. There are business norms which are in conflict for the intended use of the glasses and how they are being used by the society is a matter of concern to the company (Ramazani, 2009). Despite of the glasses being sold with service contract which has directions that the glass is intended to be used indoors only to read small text or look for details in small drawings.

Although the glasses has capabilities of concentrating sun rays which is being misused by the customers the company needs to put appropriate measures in place so that we won’t be sued for damages. The children who are playing with the glasses by concentrating the sun rays which would cause damage to the environment or them selves would sue the company under product liability laws. The law states that claims of death, personal injury or property damage which would arise due to design, use, manufacturing, formulation, testing, warning, instructions or even marketing of the product would be convicted. Hence there is need to educate the public the dangers which they are exposed to by misuse of the glasses.
