Employee Motivation
Motivation of the employees forms one of the very interesting concepts that have been of great interest to me in the chapter four that is under analysis. By motivation of the employees, this fact simply means that the company goes out of its way to create the needed moral among the work force. As a matter of fact, it is only through motivated employees that a company is ale to realize its goals no matter to what extent of the qualifications that are attached to the employees (Goldstein, 2001). Creating the self drive or moral among the employees is a very integral thing to be done so as to ensure that the company remains in harmony with its goals falling into place.
In my organization, I would use motivation as a key strategy in not only attracting new skills in recruits but also in maintaining the available employee base to avoid turn out rates (Bruce, 2006). The key strategy that I would use in motivating my employees would be by the use of reward and punishment systems towards the achievements and offences respectively. Goals that are set for a companyÂ’s employees and realized may be rewarded by either offering bonus on the salaries or even attracting professionalÂ’s gift packages like the offer of a fully furnished company car to use. On the other hand punishment may be used so as to motivate employees against some bad behaviors like lateness at work and many others.
