Introduction
There are several sectors and departments in the public, private and corporate sectors which are fascinating and interesting. Nevertheless, the human resources management department, simply referred to as HRM has been known to be of great interest to many. Some of the reasons that have underpinned the consideration of the HRM as the most favorable career are divulged upon forthwith.
Firstly, it is important to take stock of the fact that there is no career that embodies both competitive aspects such as organizational growth and the rights of the human being as an employee. At the core fundamental of HRM, is the determination of human rights and freedoms and the rights that an organization has as a legal person. It is at this point that the individual as part of the personnel is expected to fulfill his obligations to the organization as the organization, likewise, metes out its obligations on the employee. The flipside of this development is that in the organization failing to fulfill its obligation to the employee, it will be infringing on the rights and freedoms of the employee as a human person; while the failure of the employee to do the same is to contravene the agreements of the contract of employment.
